MEXT 2026/2027 — 1:1 Application Coaching From MEXT Scholars (5 Sessions)
The best person to guide you to MEXT is someone who has already won MEXT.
Success leaves clues and this program helps you follow the clues step-by-step.
Who this is for
- You’re applying for the MEXT (Bachelors/Master’s/PhD route)
- You want a clear plan, accountability, and feedback from someone who has done it
- You want to avoid wasting time on the wrong documents, wrong strategy, or weak positioning
What you get (the package)
A) Pre-check done by me (so you hit the ground running)
- Eligibility vetting (age, education years, GPA on MEXT 3.0 scale, field alignment, etc.)
- Readiness check + red flags
B) 5 x 60-minute 1:1 sessions with a MEXT scholar in Japan
- Sessions are on Google Meet
- Scheduled using your tutor’s Calendly availability
- Homework + worksheets between sessions so each call moves you forward
C) Matching
- You will be matched with a MEXT tutor (we try to match by field/level where possible)
- If a perfect field match isn’t available, you’ll be matched with a strong generalist tutor
The 5 Sessions (What you get)

Session 2 — Create a strong Primary Selection application file

What this is NOT
- This is not a “guarantee” of selection
- Tutors will not write your essays for you, they coach, guide, and help you strengthen your work
Attendance / lateness policy (important)
- Reschedule free with 24+ hours notice
- If you are 15+ minutes late, the session counts as used (no extension)
- If you no-show, the session counts as used
- If a tutor no-shows, you get a replacement session and can switch tutors
What you should prepare before each session
- Your CV + transcript
- Your rough research interests (even if unclear)
- Any draft SOP/Study Plan (even if messy)
